Starting something new up

Hey all,
is it just me or is the population of distant.net dropped when the quests stopped?
i think to gain the population again maybe we should try something maybe more quests or something,
THIS IS JUST AN OPINION.

Since not much is happening now it would be better to have something running
anyway

the problem with quests is that they consume almost all of my minecraft time, and it doesnt help with server population because people join for quests and dont bother coming on for the rest. if they would come on for the rest then quests wont convince them to come on more often. there are actually quest-type events that are still run, but you need to be on and involved to find out.

advertising doesnt help because it attracts trolls and hackers, and the whitelist is necessary or else people can take the server down. if you want to help the server population, visit more often and visit for long periods of time. im on the server for over 50 hours a week normally, and when people are online, more people come online. so instead of saying you want more people on, stay on and play for longer, and people wont leave as often :3
