Re: My Buildings
Quite impressive, Duke Commander.
In regards to your first image, consider the weight of materials. You may well notice that where the walls of upper levels of buildings are walled with wood or plaster, the walls of lower stories are often made of stone or brick. This is because stone products are normally heavier and sturdier than wood products; an upper level needs to be light, whereas a lower level needs to be strong. Having the layer of stone throws this balance out. This is just a suggestion to add superficial realism and is certainly not a rule. However, I do suggest that you replace the stone with something lighter than wood, rather than something heavier than wood.
In regards to your first image, what lets it down is the counter area. Consider adding some supports over the top of the counter, perhaps planks or fences, or something similar; this would also prevent unwanted patrons from jumping the counter. Consider also what is behind the counter. Create some shelving on which things like bottles and mugs may be found. I do not quite understand why the chests are built into the floor. This looks very peculiar to me.
As it is, I can barely fault your wine cellar. It is a little too bright to feel like a cellar, but other than that, everything you have built is of commendable quality. Please let me know if you require elaboration or extra feedback.
