In my opinion, what make some of these builds looks so great is the texture packs they use.

Yes and no. A texture pack can often make a structure look far better or far worse, but it is only one aspect. A texture pack, in general, does not contribute much to ratios, proportions, elevation, material usage and variation, decor, cultural style, character, or function. There is more to a town then how the surfaces of its planes look.

I agree with B_rank, but FOV also contributes to how buildings look (i know people or most people dont go running around with fll FOV on.)

i use minimum fov. adjusting the fov allows you to kinda see more but it distorts the perspective lines of what youre seeing, so youre not building accurately.
