guys, lets do some maths.

to start with, below level 20 theres about 1 gold ore and 1 diamond ore per 1000 blocks. thats about 7.5x7.5 wide and 20 deep. considering how it collects in ore veins, its not as high as it seems. it also means that below level 20, only 0.1% of stone is diamond/gold ore, collectively making 0.2% for either. that means if you dig a 1x2 tunnel through that 7.5x7.5 chunk, youre removing 15 stone. thats a 0.3% change of finding a single block of diamond or gold ROUGHLY speaking.

lets compare it with your numbers. you both collectively mined about 750 stone blocks in the past 24 hours. thats a 150% chance of finding diamond or gold. to make that clearer: after 750 stone blocks removed below level 20 you have around a 100% chance of finding either diamond or gold and a 50% chance of finding another block. so you should have a few gold or diamonds to show for it.

now, understand, there is a certain leeway to this. you could have found 5 diamond/gold, or maybe even 10. even 20 is understandable, since it collects in veins. so 20 in 750 is still about a 2.6% chance.

both of you gathered 84 diamonds/gold ore collectively in the past 24 hours. thats over 11%, and its over four times any reasonable amount. youre either 850% luckier than anyone else on the server, or youre using an xray hack.

if my maths is wrong, let me know and ill recalculate

thats still not proof thats basicly what u said before just because something is unlikley doesnt automaticly dismissable and there were two of us so that doubles the chances

i dont think you understand maths, jason. maths can be proof. just because you cant fathom it, doesnt mean its not completely rational and sound.

treijim i understand the math but the thing is that me and pancakes didnt xray hack so no amount of maths u post is going to change that further more what makes u so sure we hacked u say that we would have to be very lucky to find it what happens if we were? now would u plz return all my stuff and everything u stole from me

let me expand: you are 850% more lucky than the rest of the members if i am generous. if i am strictly mathematical, you are about 5600% luckier than everyone else. do you realise how massive that number is? basically its saying that the odds of you xraying are 5600% likely. 100% support makes a guess into a fact. what would 5600% support make it?

you also managed to strip every diamond/gold vein in the area of your hacked mine. what do you think the odds of this happening are? theyre less than 0.1%, ill tell you that much. thats two mathematical facts against you.

how about the arrangement of your mines? 84% of your mines have diamond or gold or perhaps some other valuable ore in the corners. you didnt mine into stone and stop. you had 100% success rate.

i was also watching you. you would be standing in a corridor, looking around. then you go up to a wall, mine into it, get some diamond, and then turn around and look for some more.

i dont see how you can possibly argue against this.

i can argue with this because i didnt xray hack neither did pancakes so how can u argue with that imagine we switch positions and i was acusing u what would u say if u know u didnt hack

sure, thats a rough number, but i reckon im close.

if i had the same thing happen to me, i would accept the punishment instead of wasting the time of the admin because im not paying to play on the server and the admin gives so much of his time, and hes already been extraordinarily forgiving towards my past mistakes, and he works on the server for so long out of sheer generosity, so the least i can do is be compliant with him in return :3
